News on Railton Neighbourhood

Construction work currently taking place at Shakespeare Road to deliver public realm improvements is now due to be extended until 20th January 2023, with a break of 1.5 weeks over the Christmas period (between 24th December - 9th January 2023).

Construction works are taking place between Mayall Road and the access road opposite no.83 Shakespeare Road. The area will remain closed to all vehicles during the construction period.

To facilitate these works safely, warning signs and barriers have been installed in the areas affected. We will require no vehicles to be parked in the road within the working and safety zones, as indicated by cones and suspension signs. Any obstructing vehicles will be relocated to nearby spaces/roads.

During the construction periods those with blue badge dispensation permits will be unable to pass through the traffic filter.
