This is an update from the Low Traffic Neighbourhood team at Lambeth Council.
We held our latest question and answer session for the Railton LTN, Wednesday 23rd June 2021. We gave a brief update on what has happened over the last month and then opened the floor to questions. In particular, we discussed the recent planting and celebrated the planter hand-painting party that occurred in Ferndale LTN- we hope to be running more events like this in the Railton LTN.
The ongoing Citizen's Assembly on the Climate Change was signposted. 50 of Lambeth's residents are working together to recommend ways everyone in Lambeth can address climate change and its causes fairly, effectively, and quickly. You can find out more here.
Finally we confirmed that our Transport Strategy and High Streets teams are working closely with businesses and Brixton BID to make further improvements to the public realm on Atlantic Road.
The recording from June and previous Q&A sessions have been made available to view on the Commonplace here.
