Railton Road South

The Railton Road South design aims to highlight the green space that is already there and celebrate the many young people who pass through on their way to school. The main features of the design are:

• Extended green space
• Narrowing of the road which maintains space for a bus to pass through
• ‘play on the way’ equipment for young people
• More planting and trees to help tackle climate change
• Moved footway, away from the road and into the green space
• Kerbs to guide visually impaired people
• Drop kerbs for wheelchair users/ people with buggies
